Anyways, Grandma came over today and we played Scrabble, AND I BEAT HER! Which is very rare because she's so good!
Muahaha!! I WIN!!

Tomorrow is gonna be fun! I get to play with little kids for a couple of hours!

I watched a TON of Batman last night. It was awesome!

Everyone in my house is Avatar crazy...

I did an average job, I guess...
There was more I wanted to do, but I was already taking too long and I panicked a little.
But I guess I did ok...

Anyway, we have ballet later, but no soccer because of the rain.

Avatar: Stunning effects, crappy plot

WARNING! SPOILERS!

So yes, I watched Avatar, the movie everyone is crazy about.
Where do I begin?
Ok, I'm not gonna lie to you, VISUALLY, the movie was beautiful. I mean really, stunning effects! But while it was visually breathtaking, it lacked in one important thing: A good plot.
First off, it was way too long. I mean really, 3 hours? A bit excessive in my opinion. And the story is just really overdone.
Ok, so big-bad nasty humans come to this planet, Pandora, because they want some special rocks that are only found on this planet. And the biggest source of the million-dollar rocks is under a giant tree where, guess what, the plant-worshipping natives are living.
Ok, first off, I know it's a movie, but I've always hated the plant-worshipping "be one with nature" thing, it's just annoying. And these blue-people think that if you don't worship the tree spirits, you're a horrible person and there's something wrong with you. Ok, sure... Oh and they also worship some goddess, a.k.a, mother nature.
So anyway, the scientists want to teach the natives the human ways and study the plants and whatnot. Long story short: The main character falls in love with a native girl and is accepted into the tribe, (Pocahontas anyone?) and in the end fights to protect the forest from the big-bad humans, and wins. Then the humans are sent back to their "dying planet" where they "killed their own goddess" and they never came back again. Oh, and the humans blew up the giant tree, which was my favorite part.
So yes, I really hated the plot. I hated that they tried to force you to side with the aliens, I hated that they made it seem like all humans are horrible, greedy pigs, I hated the nature-worshipping plant-crazy natives, and I hated that most of the plot was stolen from a Disney movie. In short, waste of three hours of my life.
So sue me for hating "the greatest movie of all time."
But I still think the stunning effects were wasted on a bad plot, and I still think it was a waste of my time.

Now I can say...

Sam broke his arm.
Yep, he broke it doing something completely stupid. **coughcough*Jumping off a fence onto a trampoline*coughcough**
But I have a theory... If he hadn't broke his arm, he might of done it again, and broken his neck. OR he might of done something even more stupid and killed himself. (aren't I such a cheery person?!) So, yes, it HAD to happen.

But anyways, he's doing good right now.
He's pretty bummed though, because this messes with his summer.
I feel really bad for him.

But yeah, that's the drama, the "scoop" if you will...

Just great

Like an hour after I was bitching about being bored, there was a LOT of drama.
But it's fine, for now.

I can't really say exactly what happened yet, but when I can, I will...
It's bad, but no one died.

Today was boring.
Isn't it Earth Day or something? Not that I care...
Earth Day is stupid.

I think I'm gonna buy another Batman DVD soon...

Anyway, I went to the doctor yesterday to get a rash on my elbows looked at.
She didn't really know exactly what it was, but she gave me some cream to put on it.

I got to the champion in SoulSilver, but then I gave up cause I kept losing...

Today is sooooo busy.
I have Spanish, and then a doctors appointment.
Then there's ballet and soccer.

Yesterday was busy and tiring, but fun.
The wedding shower as nice, and my cousin's birthday party was really fun!

Last night, I bought a ton of music off I-tunes.
And yes, a lot of Batman music.
I'm obsessed.

They are Pokemon Black and Pokemon White!!
I can't wait to see what they'll be like!

It's Good Friday, Lent is over and it's almost Easter!

I went shopping with my mom today.
I got a new pair of jeans, a really cute dress, and a pretty skirt and shirt!

I watched New Moon last night. I almost fell asleep, and I feel like I wasted two hours of my life.

Anyway, the final episode is next week, and my two favorite hair stylists made it to the top three!
